As founder and leader of The Raines Group, Sandy Raines began her real estate career in a top real estate company owned by her mother in Lansing, Michigan. Within a short time Sandy was named Rookie of the Year and became the top-producing agent, a status she sustained for 14 years. After becoming vice president of her mother’s real estate company, Sandy facilitated an in-house training program. Looking back on these experiences, Sandy says “my mother was the greatest teacher. I learned so much from her about negotiating, creating win-win situations and maintaining high ethical standards.”
In 1998, Sandy and her daughter, Laura, moved to Central Ohio to be with Sandy’s new husband, Ron Cadieux. Sandy was determined to rebuild her business and duplicate her successful real estate career in Central Ohio. Her vision began with the employment of an assistant, Stephanie Masterson, who is currently the General Manager of The Raines Group. Determined to create a team of professionals that would clearly out perform other agents in quality of service and results, Sandy and Stephanie spent the next several years hand-picking and developing a successful team. With the addition of Sandy’s husband, Ron, in 2001, The Raines Group took operational excellence to another level. With a clear team vision, strategic business plan and a systematic approach, The Raines Group’s business quadrupled and was well on its way to even greater achievements.
Sandy believes that “a team is so important because no one person can do it all. Additionally, Ron and Sandy were selected by Howard Brinton to be members of Star Power in October 2002. Star Power is an organization that selects elite agents every year who have creative and top business. At that time, Ron and Sandy were deemed as one of the top 12 agents in the United States.
